Terms of use

Last updated: October 30, 2026

1. Who we are

The TV app and the website www.unwindtv.com are UnwindTV, Poland – contact: support@unwindtv.com (“we”). Activations are sold through Stripe's Managed Payments service: Stripe (with its Link service) is the reseller and merchant of record for your order, and its company details are shown at checkout and on your receipt. We never see your card details.

2. What UnwindTV is

UnwindTV is a media player only. It does not include, sell or provide any TV channels, movies, series or playlists. Users add their own content from their own provider, and are solely responsible for having the right to watch it. UnwindTV is not affiliated with any content provider. We do not host, check, sell or forward any streams. The TV connects directly to the provider you add. You must not use UnwindTV for content you are not allowed to watch.

3. What you need

An LG TV with webOS that can run the app, and an internet connection. The website works in any current browser. Some features (for example the TV guide) depend on what your provider supplies.

4. Free trial and licence

  • Every TV gets a free trial of 7 days, once. No payment details are needed for the trial.
  • After the trial the TV can be activated for a fee shown on www.unwindtv.com/buy before you pay. The activation is for the one TV it was bought for (identified by its MAC address), for personal, non-commercial use, and cannot be transferred to another TV.
  • A lifetime activation lasts as long as we provide UnwindTV for that TV. If we ever stop the service, we will announce it at least 6 months in advance on the website.
  • The order is sold by Stripe as merchant of record (your statement shows LINK.COM*). Stripe's buyer terms apply to the payment itself. You get the receipt from Stripe / Link by e-mail; questions about a payment or a refund can also go to support.link.com.

5. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

If you are a consumer you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Activation is digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium: if you ask for the TV to be activated straight away and confirm that you then lose the right of withdrawal, the right ends when the activation is delivered (art. 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act). We ask for this confirmation during checkout. You can try the app for free for 7 days before you buy. To withdraw, write to support@unwindtv.com or to Link support (support.link.com); refunds go back to the payment method you used within 14 days.

6. If something does not work (complaints)

We are responsible by law for the app and the activation working as described (conformity of digital content, Polish Consumer Rights Act, chapter 5b). Write to support@unwindtv.com with your TV's MAC address and a description. We answer within 14 days. If we cannot fix a lack of conformity you may ask for a price reduction or withdraw from the contract, as the law provides. These rights also apply to a sole trader buying for a purpose that is not professional for them.

7. Fair use

Do not try to get around the licence or the trial, attack or overload the service, or copy and resell the app. We may block access for a TV that does this, after warning you where the law requires it.

8. Changes to the app and these terms

We improve the app over time. Updates do not remove the features you paid for without a valid reason (for example a legal or security requirement or a change on the TV platform). We will publish changes to these terms here at least 14 days before they apply to you; if you do not agree you may stop using the service and, if the change affects a paid activation, withdraw from it.

9. Liability

We are not responsible for content, availability or quality of streams from your provider, or for your provider's terms. Kid profiles and category locks filter by the category names your provider uses and by your own locks; they help a parent but cannot guarantee that no unsuitable content gets through. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer by law.

10. LG Content Store

The app is distributed through the LG Content Store. These terms are between you and us; LG Electronics is not a party to them and is not responsible for the app or its support. LG's own terms apply to the store and to your TV.

11. Personal data

How we use personal data is explained in the privacy policy.

12. Law and disputes

Polish law applies. If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live. Consumers may get free help from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa). Disputes go to the competent common court.
